Scott Hawryluk

Scott is a multi-skilled Project Manager and Architectural Technologist with comprehensive experience in design, construction documentation, and construction administration. He continually displays an ability to lead project teams to successfully deliver complex and challenging building solutions. With a background in construction, Scott is as comfortable in the trenches as he is at his computer and is well respected by the teams he contributes to and leads. Scott has a natural tendency to work collaboratively to find amicable solutions to issues as they arise on site.
Always on the lookout for strategic technology solutions to project challenges, Scott is particularly focused on BIM and data-led design. Within Next, Scott’s primary role is that of a Principal and Digital Practice Leader, providing training for all colleagues and ensuring our foundational practice, processes and tools are world-class. He is passionate about facilitating the adoption of BIM at all project stages through smarter integration of all disciplines. His leadership is paramount in the delivery and development of Model Based Project Delivery in architecture at Next, and our move away from archaic, 2D content.
Scott has gained a wide range of experience as a technologist in the Commercial, Industrial and Institutional Sectors. He also provides technical leadership and expertise, working directly with project teams as they continue to implement BIM at greater levels of detail (LOD 300 to LOD 350+) on a variety of project types and delivery methods.
