Advance the future of the industry with us.
What’s it like to be Next?
Next is intentionally difficult to join, and easy to leave. When we make a hire, it’s for keeps. Most colleagues that join us stay for a long time. But if something in their life changes and they need to move on, we support their decision, because that’s just how we roll.
We keep our Studios intentionally small. We offer good benefits and frown on overtime.
We tend to hire highly competent generalists rather than siloed specialists. We facilitate involvement in a variety of internal cohorts.
We use industry leading 3D modeling software and integrations such as Revit and BIM360. If you’re not familiar, we suggest you look elsewhere.
When we first opened our doors we made sure cloud-based remote server access was the standard so we could all work from anywhere. COVID-19 presented an opportunity for a large-scale test, and our systems worked exactly as intended. We didn’t miss a beat because we issue portable devices and other accessories (not fixed workstations) so they’re available to take home as and when needed.
We use Microsoft Teams for communication and collaboration internally and externally, including remote meetings. If you’re not familiar, we’ll get you trained up.
While the standard is to have everyone in the Studio during regular work hours, we allow flexibility when it’s needed. This may mean temporarily working at non-standard or irregular times or places to balance personal needs, childcare, health considerations, and deliverables.
